MapleStory Ice Knight Review

Ice Knight Has Arrived!

So the newest addition to the Maple world has arrived. Choas: Ice Knight! Basically what this is, for those to yet play MS, is a way for Maplers to finally compete against each-other in PvP. So MapleHelpStation decided to do a review on this and tell our fellow Maplers what we thought about this "expansion".

At first glance of Chaos we instantly triggered something like Ghost Ship Party Quest. We figured that 9 people was going to go head to head against the Ice Knight, much like a boss fight like Zakum. But to our surprise it wasn't anything like this at all. In fact, it was the exact opposite. The way it works is 10 people go into the arena and prepare for battle. Once all 10 people have joined that game the timer will start to tick down from 3. Once it hits 0 a random Mapler will be chosen from the bunch to take on the role of Ice Knight.

The Ice Knights objective is to kill the 9 other Maplers in the arena with him/her. So you get a chance to play as a boss basically. If you didn't get chosen then your objective is clearly obvious, KILL the Ice Knight. It's tons of fun and a great way to earn exp once you hit level 30.

But with Chaos and the Ice Knight Comes 2 other ways for players to go head to head in PvP. You can also do either Team Death Match or Free-For-All. This is where players will either team up to take on the other team or every man/women for him/herself. All 3 new stages have proven to be excellent and a lot of fun.

So to conclude this review we would like to give you our Pro's and Con's list.

Pro's

  • Great Exp
  • Lot's Of Fun
  • Finally PvP in MapleStory
  • Great Rewards For Earning Battle Points

Con's

  • Hackers have infested the grounds already so it may be hard to find a legit match
  • Players have complained of DCing alot, could be the hackers

I came from the forums where I found your thread asking for opinions. I am not an expert on Hub Pages however I have been looking around and trying to improve the traffic to my hubs. Just from looking at this hub I would say that it should be longer. I recommend 1,000 words. Actually it is not the word count that helps, it is more about the length of time that readers spend reading your hubs or answering poll questions or quiz questions. Google and Hub Pages looks at how long people stay on your hub. Hub Pages will increase the score of your hub when people linger on your hub. Google is more likely to serve up your content when people stay on the hub for a long time as well.

In addition to length of hub I would suggest breaking up your text to multiple capsules. This will prompt you to include a heading at the top of the capsule. You do not have to break up the capsule to format something as a heading, you can use the format drop down menu within the text capsule, it just makes it easy to start a new capsule and include a heading which will be the capsule title.

Your already doing the last suggestion, your getting comments on your hubs by posting in the forums. You can also comment on other Hubber's Hubs.

I hope this helps, if you like these suggestions please check out my hub Quality Counts it has been nominated for an award. If you scroll through the comments you will find a link to another hub where you can vote for my hub. Thanks
